African Nurse Sacked For Preaching About Jesus In UK

Image
A nurse who gave a patient a bible she did not want and spoke about religion with patients has said she will fight her dismissal. Sister Sarah Kuteh received repeated warnings over the ‘unwanted discussions’ at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, but continued to talk about religion with people. She said that she approached the subject as part of her job because she helped people fill out questionnaires that included a question about religion. However, she went a step further and some people accused her of ‘preaching’ at them so she was fired for breaching guidelines. Now, with the help of the Christian Legal Centre, she is taking Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust to tribunal for unfair dismissal. But one patient complained that she was given a Bible that she didn’t want while another said that Mrs Kuteh was ‘preaching’ at her. Mrs Kuteh believes her sacking from Darent Valley hospital in Dartford, Kent, was ‘disproportionate an...

The Best Way To Give A Good Breastfeeding .

Image
The best way to give a good breastfeeding  to the newborn . Breastfeeding is the best feeding. But if you want to be able to have a good supply of breastmilk, fewer breast problems, a satisfied, happy and well-nourished baby, plus the benefit of being able to nurse your baby for long, then a right beginning to breastfeeding is important. Here is how you can have a good start to breastfeeding: 1. Avoid medicated or assisted birth: Try to have a natural birth as much as possible. If you have a C-section, it will delay the first breastfeeding. Due to the medications used in C-section, and the incisions you have, there will be a problem with proper latching on. The drugs might induce sleepiness and there will be an overall delay in the onset of breast milk production. If a c-section is necessary due to a medical emergency, you might not be able to avoid it. But try to have a natural birth because you can heal sooner and begin breastfeeding immediately after birth. 2. Immediate...

HOW TO LOOSE WEIGHT AND FAT- Exercise Method

Image
Excess fats or calories are the major cause for overweight or obesity . Here are our simple rules for squeezing the most out of your everyday by exercising. >>>Be an early bird to get the workout. Lace up first thing and you'll increase your odds of exercising today threefold. >>>Hit the metal before the pedal. Instead of going from zero to 60 to sweat off the calories, consider this: Doing a quick sculpting routine pre-cardio could increase the amount of fat you melt. Exercisers in a study at the University of Tokyo who biked within 20 minutes of lifting weights tapped more of their fat stores than those who rested longer or didn't tone at all. The firm-then-burn order is also good for your heart: Arteries stiffen during resistance training, increasing blood pressure, but a cardio chaser such as a 20-minute run counteracts these effects and expedites your arteries' return to normal, explains Rohit Arora, MD, chairman of cardiology at the Chicago ...

WHY I CANNOT GIVE BIRTH

Image
....LET THAT SEED GROW ....Written By The Fabulous Maiden Sarah Hackman, A Student “I am responsible but I’m not ready to be a father.” I felt nauseous immediately – again. How can he say such a thing to my family? I felt dejected. I saw the disappointed look on my mom’s face. I was her only child and she won’t take it. My family obviously did not agree to commit such an atrocious act but the harm was already done… the shame. During the ultra-scan, the obstetrician looked at the motion picture on the screen, a smile worked at the corner of his lip. “They’re twins.” He said. I felt a twinge of joy which was clouded with pain and confusion. “Are you sure?” I asked. It was too good to be happening at that point in my life as far as my situation was concerned. To me it was divine but their father did not want them. “I’m a sonographer and I know what I’m talking about... congratulations.”  “Thank you” I managed to say. Days passed and yet the man still insisted he was not re...

GRNMA Executives dissapointed their members.

Image
I seem to lost count upon hearing the GRNMA President on TV. He spoke as if he doesn't even know why nurses and midwives are on strike. The meeting held by both stakeholders had transpired months ago( early this year)  without yielding any results and these same people met again on the same issues. The members of GRNMA were on strike because the government did not implement what was discussed early this year. Instead of the executives seeing to its implementation, they rather agreed on their oral promising again . Professional nurses are now jobless. The GRNMA President and other national executives have agreed to the sugar coated words of the government representatives whlist- * Thousands of  qualified professional nurses are wandering around with their certificates without job and wasting their skills. * Those who were posted have worked for months to years without salaries. Even if it is paid, only three months will be paid irrespective of how long you've worked. The...

FAKE DOCTOR ARRESTED.

Image
@Korle Bu Another fake doctor busted . The suspect has since provisionally been charged with defrauding by false pretense and would be arraigned before court. Police have arrested a 34-year-old quack doctor who was attending to patients at the Surgical and Emergency Unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. The suspect, Jacob Nii Laryea was reportedly arrested by doctors on duty while he was wearing a white doctor’s apron, with a stethoscope around his neck and attending to patients. Confirming the incident, ACP Antwi Tabi, Dansoman Divisional Commander, said on August 17, 2016, some doctors and security from the hospital brought the suspect to the station, saying they have spotted him almost three times at the said hospital attending to patients. The suspect, Laryea could not answer simple questions posed by the doctors on duty and so they became suspicious of him, ACP Antwi Tabi told the Daily Guide. The suspect was finally arrested by the staff of the hospital after h...

Peggy's death could have been prevented : KOFI GHANA

Image
Picture of Peggy Anita at the bottom Peggy Anita ... I woke up at 1: 39am Sunday July 3 , bathed, went on my knees and prayed to God. Whiles praying I ask myself, Peggy is gone, who is the next person? Could it be me? I don't pay my tithe regularly because I have not been going to church due to formal education or work. Should this be an excuse every Sunday? The late Peggy called me some few days before her death. She said "Kofi please help me to get reposting, I am 8 months pregnant and I am so weak. This *national posting* is not good at all. Kofi please help..." This was beyond me. She was advised to see the Volta Regional Health Director. She did exactly that but when she called me after seeing the director, I felt pain and sadness in her tone. "Kofi, the director didn't agree and has posted me to Volta Regional Hospital..." I reassured her and encouraged her to accept the posting, but she emphasized that she is so weak and wants to give birth ...

A Nurse Nun Dies With A Smiling Face

Image
Rev. Sister Cecilia Maria dies with a Smiling face. Sister Cecilia Maria lived in Saints Teresa and Joseph Monastery in Santa Fe, Argentina, dedicated to prayer and the contemplative life. She passed away early on June 22 at age 43. After graduating as a nurse at 26 years of age, Sister Cecilia Maria made her first vows as a discalced Carmelite. In 2003, she made her final profession. Six months ago, she was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue and the disease metastasized into her lungs. In her time living at the monastery, she played the violin and was known for her sweetness and constant smile. In the final weeks of her illness, her condition worsened and she had to be hospitalized. From her bed she never stopped praying and offering up her sufferings with the certainty that her encounter with God was near. She wrote her last wish on a piece of paper: “I was thinking about how I would like my funeral to be. First, some intense prayer and then a great celebration for everyo...

Bringing The Dying Back To Life by Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Image
CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION                           (CPR) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR,is an emergency procedure performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing or abnormal breathing, for example, agonal respirations. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of techniques, including chest compressions, designed to pump the heart to get blood circulating and deliver oxygen to the brain until definitive treatment can stimulate the heart to start working again. INDICATIONS ● Any person who has become unconscious and is found to be pulseless ● Cardiac arrest ● Ventricular fibrillation ( VF ) ● Pulseless ventricular...

SECRETS OF ALL MEN : NOT JUST SEX

Image
Sex is an important element in marriage and until there is sexual intercourse between a husband and a wife, the marriage is not yet spiritually recognised . This shows how important sex is in marriage. When you look at how aggressive men are towards sex you may think that what a man needs from a woman is sex. Of course, if he has not married you yet or he does not really intend to marry you what he will need from you is nothing above your body. But if he really intends to marry you or if you guys are already married sex is never what he needs from you - maybe let me say it better; "WHAT A MAN NEEDS MOST FROM A WOMAN IS NOT SEX." Many young girls think because they are sexually active and experience they will easily be married and have their husbands loving them. And when a man approaches for marriage they think the greatest asset they have to show the man is sex. Others also think once they are giving out their bodies it means they are giving out the best for which reason t...

PROSTATE CANCER now after young guys.

Image
PROSTATE CANCER- is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in American men and the second leading cause of cancer deaths. In some Western countries, it has become the leading cause of cancer deaths. As our population ages, the impact of prostate cancer on American men will increase; no other cancer rises in incidence and mortality rate with increasing age as rapidly as does prostate cancer. It has been estimated that over 1 million American men now alive and over age 50 will eventually die of prostate cancer unless new treatments are developed to control this disease. Unfortunately, prostate cancer has a disproportionate impact on certain segments of our population. For example, African American men are more likely to develop prostate cancer and twice as likely to die from it than are other Americans. Over the past decade, the incidence of prostate cancer has increased sharply as PSA testing has become widely available. With widespread awareness about prostate cancer and a greater will...

A hungry nurse is a potential Killer!

Image
They say they have built countless hospitals and springs of chip compounds scattered across the length and breath of the nation and yet, trained nurses are roaming like scavengers in search of jobs. The trained nurses and midwives are to have another demonstration next week.   This was a voice of an angry nurse among the nurses demonstrating against the current government for its failure to employ them. Years ago, nurses were employed few weeks after their national service or clinical rotation but the current government has refused to employ nurses and midwives. This has continued for years now making the nurses and midwives embarking on massive nationwide demonstration against the government. Nurses and teacher trainee allowances too has been cancelled.
