GRNMA Executives dissapointed their members.

I seem to lost count upon hearing the GRNMA President on TV. He spoke as if he doesn't even know why nurses and midwives are on strike. The meeting held by both stakeholders had transpired months ago( early this year)  without yielding any results and these same people met again on the same issues.

The members of GRNMA were on strike because the government did not implement what was discussed early this year. Instead of the executives seeing to its implementation, they rather agreed on their oral promising again . Professional nurses are now jobless.

The GRNMA President and other national executives have agreed to the sugar coated words of the government representatives whlist-
* Thousands of  qualified professional nurses are wandering around with their certificates without job and wasting their skills.
* Those who were posted have worked for months to years without salaries. Even if it is paid, only three months will be paid irrespective of how long you've worked.

The government says there is no money. However, government officials have misused National Funds on their own interests. When such people are being accused, they are been ordered to pay such huge monies in bit at their own strength without any compulsion. What a country we live! Ghana has changed at all levels of diversity.

The GRNMA President is aware of all these and other issues, so why is he confused in telling the truth? Why was he easily convinced and agreed? No wonder a medical officer said, "Your leaders are being bought with huge monies".
